Morning Bananas
Nov. 21st, 2024 07:59 amI've been up for 2 hours. I'm never up at 6am naturally with intention to have a day. I loaded the dishwasher and that's running. I had a cup of hot cocoa. I dug through my boxes for my geometry notebook with plans on drawing this month's pattern from Samira. The landlord's dad will come today to look at the thermostat and this will be the first time I'm awake when he comes to the door. I suppose I should put some real clothes on, since being awake and yet not in a bra seems wrong.
The barrier now is that Gia is asleep in my arms and I don't know what she'll do if I wake her. Yesterday she was pretty chill. I tried a new thing of playing with her with a wand toy. When I was done, I said "playtime is over for now" and gave her chewy treats. I guess if she's wild I'l have to do that again. She's so gosh darn smart.
I don't know if I'll leave the house today, but I already feel like I'm winning. Oh and I did some stepwork this morning, too! I haven't been able to think clearly and have been stalled on Step 7 for about a month. I knocked out 4 of the questions and now I'm more than halfway done. Baby steps.
